Per le piccole e grandi aziende evitare di essere hackerate e quindi di vedere esfiltrati i dati conservati è una vera e propria sfida, soprattutto in questi anni nei quali la tecnologia diventa un driver de marketing. L’india, secondo una recente indagine della società di sicurezza Surfshark, nel terzo trimestre del 2023 risulta essere il Paese “più violato” al mondo con 3.69.000 account trapelati, nonostante il “tasso di violazione” sia diminuito del 74% rispetto a 1,4 milioni di account trapelati nel secondo trimestre.

ILLINOIS, LA CORTE SUPREMA AFFERMA CHE BIOMETRIC INFORMATION PRIVACY ACT NON SI APPLICA A TUTTI GLI OPERATORI SANITARI
In Illinois una coppia di infermieri ha citato in giudizio i propri datori di lavoro asserendo che la loro privacy era stata violata nel momento in cui non sono stati avvisati di come le loro impronte digitali, utili ad aprire armadi contenenti farmaci, venivano raccolte e conservate. La Corte Suprema ha però stabilito che l’unica deroga alla legge sulla privacy relativa alle impronte biometriche è per gli operatori sanitari e quindi si è pronunciata di fatto contro i due infermieri.
WHATSAPP HA AGGIUNTO UN ALTRO ELEMENTO DI SICUREZZA PER LE CHAT DEGLI UTENTI
Per chi condivide il proprio telefono con amici o familiari o chi più semplicemente tiene alla sua privacy da poco esiste un nuovo strumento che consente di mettere un codice di sicurezza alle chat. Si avrà anche la possibilità di nascondere la cartella Chat bloccate dalla lista delle chat in modo che possano essere scoperte solo digitando il codice segreto nella barra di ricerca. Uno strumento molto utile soprattutto nei paesi in via di sviluppo come ad esempio l’India dove i device vengono utilizzati da più soggetti , soprattutto nelle famiglie a più basso reddito.

India, according to a recent survey by security firm Surfshark, was the ‘most hacked’ country in the world in Q3 2023 with 3,69,000 leaked accounts, despite the ‘breach rate’ having dropped by 74 per cent from 1.4 million leaked accounts in Q2.

ILLINOIS, SUPREME COURT AFFIRMS THAT BIOMETRIC INFORMATION PRIVACY ACT DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL HEALTH CARE WORKERS
In Illinois, a couple of nurses sued their employers alleging that their privacy had been violated when they were not notified of how their fingerprints, used to open cabinets containing drugs, were collected and stored. However, the Supreme Court ruled that the only exception to the privacy law regarding biometric fingerprints is for healthcare workers and therefore ruled against the two nurses.

You will also be able to hide the blocked chats folder from the chat list so that they can only be discovered by typing the secret code in the search bar. A very useful tool, especially in developing countries such as India, where devices are used by more people, especially in lower-income families.
