PAESI BASSI: L’AP CHIEDE AL MINISTERO DELLE INFRASTRUTTURE DI LIMITARE L’USO DEI SEMAFORI INTELLIGENTI
L’autorità olandese per la protezione dei dati ha sollecitato il ministero delle Infrastrutture a prendere provvedimenti in merito al crescente numero di semafori dotati di software che consentono di tracciare gli utenti.
I semafori si collegano ai telefoni cellulari, raccogliendo non soltanto informazioni sul volume e sulla velocità del traffico, ma anche informazioni personali.

NETHERLANDS: THE AP ASKS THE MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE TO RESTRICT THE USE OF INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC LIGHTS
The Dutch data protection authority has urged the Ministry of Infrastructure to take action regarding the growing number of traffic lights equipped with software that can track road users.
The traffic lights connect to the mobile phones of road users, collecting not only information on traffic volume and speed, but also personal information.
